Butterflies from the Carleton University Butterfly Show

Every year the Biology Department at Carleton University in Ottawa holds a butterfly show. A variety of butterflies from around the world are brought in at the chrysalis stage and then hatched. It is a fantastic event for photography or just to enjoy the experience of being surrounded by clouds of exotic creatures.

Most of these images were captured using a Nikon D5300 and a range of Nikon lenses.
